Gravel Calculator

To get an estimate of how much aggregates you would need for your project, just use the calculator below.

Here's what you need to know:

  1. Length: How long is the area?

  2. Width: How wide is the area?

  3. Depth: How deep do you want the gravel?

Our Calculator requires the measurements to be in metres and centimetres, please ensure your measurements are accurate.

Enter these three measurements along with the material you require and the calculator will tell you exactly how much you'll need to purchase to cover the area. This helps prevent buying too little or too much.

For gravel and smaller chippings, a standard depth of 50 mm (about 2 inches) is recommended to ensure even coverage and stability, ideal for decorative stone up to 20 mm in size.

For larger decorative stone, up to 50 mm, increase the depth to 70 mm (just under 3 inches).
